Pittsburgh (Crafton area) company is in need of an Accounts Receivable Manager.   

Duties to include:

·       Conduct weekly meetings with department to review ageing report

·       Review daily reconciliation of deposits from cash receipts; communicate follow up on any unreceived funds

·       Conduct credit checks on all new and potential customers

·       Place new customers on routes, assign to AR Specialist and oversee correct set up and accurate terms/billing

·       Conduct quarterly audits of customer database

·       Confer route sequencing and route changes.

·       Review and update commission by route for pay

·       Oversee the review of customer invoices and statements for accuracy

·       Regularly review the current and detailed collection notes to track problem customers

·       Determine whether to place a customer on hold or discontinue with customer

·       Assist assigned customers with general inquiries regarding invoices and payments

·       Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports

·       Support Accounts Receivable Specialists daily and train new team members and ensure all team members follow the accounting policies and regulations

·       Set and implement deadlines for invoicing and payment collection

·       Provide consistent, professional, courteous, and high-quality customer service with all customers

·       Provide information on online paying and ordering in a push to get all customers using ERP and payments systems

·       Notify quality control and AR Manager of any quality issues

·       Organizes and oversees the scheduling for AR Department personnel

·       Conduct performance evaluations that are timely and constructive for AR personnel

·       Handles discipline and termination of employees as needed and in accordance with company policy

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting a plus
  • Proven work experience as an Accounts Receivable Manager
  • 5+ years as an AR Specialist or similar job experience
  • Knowledge of DSD operations required
  • Demonstrated team management and negotiation skills
  • Business Accounting
  • Basic Bookkeeping
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills
  • Ability to create and present detailed reports
  • Excellent Organizational skills
  • 5 + years’ experience with accounting software
  • Ability to accurately process and interpret numerical data
  • Ability to motivate a team and directly fix errors while maintaining moral of department
