Pittsburgh area engineering group needs a Technical Administrative Assistant with their onsite, field office.  The selected candidate will be responsible for handling detailed technical tasks and coordinating daily office operations.

Responsibilities to include:

·  Manages critical project files, submittals and bid leveling.

·   Assists Project Manager in tracking permits and inspection logs to ensure compliance with local codes.

·       Maintains and updates project databases and files.

·       Assists with maintenance of daily site records, progress reports, and photo documentation to keep a project log of job site conditions.

·       Coordinates project schedules, handles client inquiries via email and phone, and communicates updates to team members.

·       Assists in organizing project files, tracking deliverables, and managing project meetings.  

·       Supports the Project Manager with tracking project costs, auditing monthly requisitions for completed work, and managing change order documentation.

Requirements:

·       Previous experience in construction management, engineering or technical support role is preferred.

·   Proficiency in MSOffice is essential with focus on competency in Excel and the ability to manipulate spreadsheets and work with formulas and tables. 

·       Proficiency in Adobe and/or Bluebeam software is also required.

·       Professional verbal and written communication skills to interact with team members and clients.

·       Basic understanding of budgeting and mathematical calculations.

·       High attention to detail for accurate data entry and document review.

·       Ability to work both independently and in a busy team environment.
