Downtown Pittsburgh law firm is in need of an experienced Legal Assistant to provide support for their Real Estate Group. 

Duties to include:

·       Provide general administrative support in the Real Estate Practice Group

·       Assist the firm’s Title Agent / Director of Title Services with closings from time to time

·       Manage and track applicable attorneys’ continuing legal education credits and status

·       Assist with monthly billing/invoicing, case file management, document preparation and revision, and data entry

·       Prepare and send letters and other correspondence on behalf of applicable attorneys

Requirements:

·       2+ years prior experience working as a legal assistant at a law firm (any experience related to commercial real estate transactions is a big plus)

·       Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite

·       Basic familiarity with accounts receivable and accounts payable

·       Strong written and verbal communication skills

·       Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work independently

·       A professional, team-oriented attitude with a willingness to learn and take initiative

·       A college degree is preferred, but not necessary
