Pittsburgh (Mount Lebanon area) company in need of an Inside Sales Rep.

Selected candidate will be responsible to:

· Process customer orders received via phone, email and fax.

· Review customer purchase orders for specifications, addresses, payment terms, etc.

· Update data files for price changes, product formula changes, etc.

· Enter orders into customized legacy software (we will train)

· Interact with plant personnel regarding orders and to track shipments.

· Interact with outside sales teams regarding orders and issues.

· Maintain spreadsheets regarding inside sales as needed.

· Compose, format and type business communications, including customer bids and quotations and purchase orders to vendors.

· Phone contacts to augment outside sales team as needed.

· Responsible for organization of files relating to above.

· Other duties as directed


· Professional verbal and written communication skills

· Proficient MSWord and Excel skills

· Strong organizational skills

· Adept at shifting priorities and problem solving

· Supply chain management experience a plus

· Assoc degree required, Bachelors a plus
