Pittsburgh area company is in need of an experienced Office Manager/Accountant.  The selected individual will assist in the financial management and overall office operations of this established and growing firm.

Responsibilities to include:

·        Accounts Receivable invoicing, deposit collection, and reconciliation

·        Generate project invoices based on staff work and vendor invoices

·        Work with Firm Principals to finalize and issue monthly invoices

·        Receive, record, and reconcile bank check payments EFT payments and deposits

·        Receive, record, and reconcile EFT and credit card payments and deposits

·        Assist in deposit reconciliation

·        General Journal data entry and reconciliation

·        General Ledger Review and Authorization of journal postings

·        Purchase orders, invoices, statements, cash receipts and bank statements

·        Accounts Payable reconciliation and invoice entry

·        Enter and reconcile vendor invoices with project invoices

·        Accounts Payable Management, including scheduling vendor payments

·        Accounts Payable vendor payments – weekly and bi-weekly check printing

·        Track payments and expenditures

·        Process consultant invoices

·        Post invoices to project costs

·        Project budget preparation and tracking

·        Maintain and issue project budgets with professional staff

·        Track reimbursable project costs

·        Assist in general office and Firm management tasks

·        Assist Firm Principals with Office and Firm Management tasks

·        Assistance with project proposals

·        Solicit and track consultant proposals

·        Assist in Interviews for employment openings

·        Financial statement generation

·        Assist in scheduling Continuing Education vendor presentations Track Employee timesheets and reconcile with project costs Track Employee benefits

Requirements:

·        Previous like accounting and administrative experience a must

·        Proficient software skills to include MSWord, Excel and QuickBooks

·        Willingness to learn additional software as needed

·        Professional verbal and written communication skills

·        Excellent time management and organizational skills
