The Human Resource Generalist-Recruiter will provide professional, technical and administrative expertise to insure the effective operations of the Human Resources function, and assure compliance with policy and local, state and federal employment related laws and regulations, and the achievement of organizational goals in the area of Human Resources.

Duties to include:

·         Recruitment efforts that will include development of partnerships within the community, surrounding colleges, professional and social organizations.

·         Work with hiring managers regarding open positions

·         Gather and analyze data with useful HR metrics, like time to hire and employee turnover rates

·         Responsible for, employee life cycle administration that will include entry of new hires, status changes, rate changes, etc. into HRIS (ADP)

·         Assist with providing support to employees in various HR-related topics

·         Assist with regulatory related reporting.

·         Administration of unemployment claims received

·         Daily benefits administration.

·         Maintaining physical and digital files for employees and their documents, benefits

·         Employee file compliance maintenance,

·         Leave administration

·         Position is also involved with (New Employee Orientation, providing follow- up regarding unemployment compensation claims, etc.).

·         Creating onboarding plans

·         Educating newly hired employees on HR established practices and procedures

·         Communication skills including verbal, written, interpersonal, and presentation both in-person and on the phone

·         Provide excellent customer service in all interactions maintaining a positive and helpful demeanor. Handle difficult interactions with sensitivy and diplomacy.

·         Respond to emails in a professional and timely manner.

·         Maintain confidentiality at all times.

·         Drive job postings on established recruiting platforms

·         Working with Hiring Managers on position details

·         Ensure the flow of timely recruitment efforts

·         Responsible for recruitment communication

·         Provides VP of HR monthly recruitment metrics

Requirements:

·         Bachelor Degree, Associate degree will be considered

·         HRIS Experience

·         Microsoft Suite Applications
