Pittsburgh area steel fabrication operator is in need of an experienced Project Manager. The selected candidate will be responsible for managing the life cycle of a project to include establishing, maintain, scheduling, and enforcing project standards, influencing decisions internally and externally while effectively communicating with all stakeholders associated with the project.
Responsibilities:
· Communicate effectively with co-workers, management, customers, and others in a courteous and professional manner
· Provides assistance with front end sales quotes regarding pricing, production time and logistics
· Manage the life cycle of a project, serving as the liaison between external and internal customers
· Enter all relevant sales data into the system, establish tasks, distribute preliminary information, and create and manage project folders according to company standards
· Ensure the project is completed accurately, on time, and in the best interest of the company and customer while maintaining open communications with all parties
· Maintain a relationship with the customer, developing business opportunities for current and future needs
· Facilitate kick off meetings with all required departments to review orders and develop a plan to exceed customer expectations, and hold follow up meetings to ensure deadlines are being met
· Maintain communications with internal and external customers to ensure project tasks are being accomplished effectively and efficiently within the established time frames
Requirements:
· Degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field preferred
· Three (3) to five (5) years of STEEL Fabrication / related experience –
· Excellent analytical skills
· Familiar with reading and understanding blue prints and engineering drawings
· Computer literacy including MS Office , Auto CAD and Inventor
· Excellent oral and written communication skills
