Pittsburgh area accounting group is in need of a capable Office Assistant. 

Duties:

·   Answer office phones

·   Manage office space including office services, equipment and supplies

·   Maintain an organized workspace

·   Preparation of general correspondence and financial statements

·   Bookkeeping (billings and payables) for internal and external sources

·   Scanning tax documentation

·   Process and release tax returns

·   Run reports and print statements

·   Print expense worksheets and write expense checks

·   Perform bank deposits

·   Assist in planning company events and activities

·   Preparation of Form 1099s in January

·   Maintain HR documentation for benefits and employee on-boarding

·   Work with IT consultants on technical issues and computer needs (scheduling)

·   Work with the accounting team on various projects  

·   Compile and organize data for filing

·   Willingness to work on various technical projects

Requirements:

·   Previous like office support experience

·   Professional verbal and written communication skills

·   Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel

·   Experience with QuickBooks a plus

·   Strong organizational and multitasking skills
