Pittsburgh area general contractor in need of an experience Billing Assistant. Selected candidate will perform billing functions and provide guidance to the customer service department on any billing inquiries related to customers.

Duties to include:

· Time and Material billings, Fixed Price Contract billings, Customer deposit billings, as well as Not to Exceed billings

· Create invoices in special customer portal and import to accounting software for general ledger posting

· Monthly Progress Billings (both quick bill and AIA progress billing documents)

· Cash Receipts processing and application to customer accounts

· Project set-up and Job Cost maintenance

· Assist the customer service department with dispatching by answering incoming calls and entering customer information

· Investigate and resolve customer billing and payment inquires

· Accounts Receivable Collections

· Perform other assigned tasks

Requirements:

· Working knowledge of accounting software (Sage 300 /Timberline a plus)

· Previous service industry experience preferred, but not required

· Must be able to manage multiple tasks and handle the demands of multiple managers

· Must be able to work independently

· Highly motivated

· Proficient in Microsoft Office to include a strong command of Microsoft Excel

· Excellent organization skills and attention to detail

· Knowledge of liens and releases preferred
