McKees Rocks area general contractor in need of Administrative/Project Assistant.  Selected candidate will assist project managers in their day-to-day project management responsibilities. 

Duties to include:  

  • Ensure proper flow of approved submittal procurement
  • Type and track all Requests for Information (RFIs & RFI Log)
  • Type, mail, log and file all change orders generated by PM and keep change order log updated
  • All filing (electronic and paper)
  • Maintain current project drawings and specifications and transmit (electronic and paper) to field/vendors/subcontractors as necessary.
  • Preparing Operation & Maintenance Manuals for project as they finish
  • Switchboard coverage by routing incoming phone calls to appropriate person/department when needed
  • Backup Estimating Coordinator when needed
  • Assist trade Superintendents and field personnel with project documents and drawings as necessary
  • Make / scan / save copies of drawings when needed

Requirements:

  • Experience in contracting industry a plus
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office – (Word; Excel, Power Point), Outlook
  • Adobe Reader/ Writer (strongly preferred)
  • Good communication skills (oral, written and telephone)
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work without direction
  • Good ATTITUDE
  • Able to work well with others
