McKees Rocks area general contractor in need of Administrative/Project Assistant. Selected candidate will assist project managers in their day-to-day project management responsibilities.
Duties to include:
- Ensure proper flow of approved submittal procurement
- Type and track all Requests for Information (RFIs & RFI Log)
- Type, mail, log and file all change orders generated by PM and keep change order log updated
- All filing (electronic and paper)
- Maintain current project drawings and specifications and transmit (electronic and paper) to field/vendors/subcontractors as necessary.
- Preparing Operation & Maintenance Manuals for project as they finish
- Switchboard coverage by routing incoming phone calls to appropriate person/department when needed
- Backup Estimating Coordinator when needed
- Assist trade Superintendents and field personnel with project documents and drawings as necessary
- Make / scan / save copies of drawings when needed
Requirements:
- Experience in contracting industry a plus
- Proficient in Microsoft Office – (Word; Excel, Power Point), Outlook
- Adobe Reader/ Writer (strongly preferred)
- Good communication skills (oral, written and telephone)
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work without direction
- Good ATTITUDE
- Able to work well with others
