Pittsburgh area Commercial Real Estate company is in need of a Real Estate Assistant. The selected candidate will assist in the day-to-day administrative and bookkeeping support duties

Duties to include

· Timely creation, management, and distribution of documents such as lease agreements, invoices, and vendor subcontracts

· Lease management & property maintenance inquiries and direction

· Insurance and renewals

· Associated administration such as answering phones, sorting mail, filing, and copy/scanning

· Phone skills including vetting & solving Tenant issues

· Accounts Receivable / Accounts Payable / Invoicing

· Property income & expense reports

· Entering and balancing checking accounts

· Reconciling monthly bank statements

· Preparing 1099’s

· Year-End auditing

Requirements:

  • 5 years of relevant experience working in the commercial real estate industry
  • Understanding of legal documents, accounting principles, invoicing, property maintenance, and leases.
  • Ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, punctual, and customer-oriented and will have excellent writing and verbal communication, organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Intrapersonal skills are essential, as are the abilities to collaborate and work within a project team.
  • Computer skills including Microsoft Office, Yardi Real Estate Management Software (or similar).
