Pittsburgh area dental practice is in need of a Front Desk Manager. The selected candidate will be responsible for total patient management while providing a professional, caring and productive experience.
Duties to include:
- Send patient welcome letters, thank you notes and related
- Maintain patient continuing care recall system
- Notify hygienist of changes in the schedule and what is being done to correct it
- Make sure all of next days’ patients are confirmed
- Change hygienists’ chart review sheet of any changes in their schedule
- Put charts in the hallway at the appropriate room.
- Hang copies of the next day’s schedule in rooms.
- Verify lab cases are in; make sure labs were called for cases that are needed
- Maintain inventory of office supplies. Let Dr. G know of any office supplies that are needed.
- Scan treatment plans into patient charts in the computer
Requirements:
- Previous like dental office experience required
- Professional verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient PC skills with ability to learn new software
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Ability to meet deadlines in a faster paced enviro
- Team player willing to assist others
