Pittsburgh area dental practice is in need of a Front Desk Manager.  The selected candidate will be responsible for total patient management while providing a professional, caring and productive experience.  

Duties to include:

  • Send patient welcome letters, thank you notes and related
  • Maintain patient continuing care recall system  
  • Notify hygienist of changes in the schedule and what is being done to correct it
  • Make sure all of next days’ patients are confirmed
  • Change hygienists’ chart review sheet of any changes in their schedule
  • Put charts in the hallway at the appropriate room.
  • Hang copies of the next day’s schedule in rooms.
  • Verify lab cases are in; make sure labs were called for cases that are needed
  • Maintain inventory of office supplies. Let Dr. G know of any office supplies that are needed.
  • Scan treatment plans into patient charts in the computer     

Requirements:

  • Previous like dental office experience required
  • Professional verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient PC skills with ability to learn new software
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines in a faster paced enviro
  • Team player willing to assist others
