Pittsburgh area company in need of experienced Payroll & Benefits Manager.

General duties to include:

Benefits:

· Reviews and maintains employee benefits to ensure accurate enrollments and benefit compliance

· Assists with coordinating annual open enrollment period and new hire enrollment period

· Ensures compliance with applicable government regulations

· Reviews, analyzes and reconciles monthly benefit invoices

· Ensures timeliness and accuracy of required reporting

· Fulfills year-end processing including the review and completion of ACA 1094/1095 forms

· Maintains employee benefits files, maintains group benefits database and updates employee payroll records

· Responds to benefits questions from employees on plan provisions, benefits enrollments, status changes, and other general inquiries

· Inputs benefit plan information into payroll system

· Prepares, collects, organizes and reviews data for plan audits

· All other duties as assigned

Payroll:

· Is responsible for the bi-monthly payroll and be the liaison to Paycor

· Educates employees about timekeeping, payroll, and self-service solutions to Paycor

· Oversees background checks and new hire/termination paperwork

· Handle all government and regulatory compliance reporting

· Ensures all payroll transactions are processed timely and accurately

· Develops and maintains accurate payroll records for multiple locations

· Conducts year-end processing including the review of W-2’s

· Takes an active approach towards gaining knowledge and understanding of payroll laws, procedures and requirements

· Builds reports in Paycor as requested by Human Resources and Accounting

· Assists with other general Human Resources duties as assigned such as:

o Updates and maintain policies and procedures

o Assists in recruitment and selection of employees

o Conducts employee orientation

o Assists with incentive plans and performance management program

Requirements:

· Minimum of 5 years payroll and benefit experience

· Possession of at least a high school diploma is required and a post-secondary degree or college classes in accounting is preferred.

· Demonstrated aptitude for problem-solving, basic accounting principles knowledge, documentation skills, research, resolution skills, data analysis and multi-tasking skills are essential

· Must have the ability to maintain a strict level of confidentiality

· Must be results orientated and able to work both independently and within a team environment Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills

· Must be detailed oriented and highly organized

· Experience in Paycor is a plus
