Pittsburgh company is in need of an Admin Assistant within their Purchasing Department.  The selected candidate will be part of the Supply Management team and will be take part in Supply Management functions with a focus on supply requisition processing, inventory and vendor management.

Duties to include:
·         Receive and process supply requisitions in an effective and efficient manner

·         Enter purchase orders accurately and efficiently

·         Expedite orders when necessary

·         Maintain accurate and complete information for all vendors, products and clients as needed

·         Maintain and monitor order status inbox

·         Communicate with vendors and also internally with project managers, the service department, and other departments as necessary

Requirements:
·         Proven organizational skills to accurately process large amounts of information and supply requisitions

·         Experience with Great Plains accounting software and/or purchasing software is a plus only

·         1 to 2 years of administrative experience. Purchasing experience helpful.

·         Ability to multitask and continually re-prioritize daily tasks is a must

·         Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and web-based search engines

·         Excellent verbal communication skills for interaction with clients, vendors, and associates
