Downtown Pittsburgh investment services group is in need of a Business Case Manager.  The selected candidate will be responsible for coordinating and managing new client accounts from submission through approval with primary focus on managing the account.  

Responsibilities:
·       Manages assigned new client applications from submission through approval
·       Utilizes Case Management tools provided to track progress and communicate requirements and status, adhering to service levels
·       Uses judgement to clearly identify the next action required, understanding when and how to escalate offers/requirements for further consideration
·       Understands the underwriting process/requirements and can pro-actively identify potential issues and develop a joint plan with advisors and Home Office to address
·       Maintains positive relationships with advisors, underwriters, and peers.  Establishing oneself as an integral part of the team
·       Seeks continuing education on product offerings, programs, and requirements

Requirements:  
·       Professional written and verbal communication skills

·       Excellent relationship building and negotiating skills, with the ability to influence a situation to achieve the best client outcome

·       Strong attention to detail

·       Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced team environment, understanding priorities when presented with multiple challenges

·       Excellent PC skills to include MSOffice with ability to learn new software as needed

·       Critical thinking skills with the ability to think out-of-the-box

·       Experience working with life and disability products is a plus
