Pittsburgh area professional services group is in need of a Project Accountant. 

Duties to include:

·         All aspects of the accounting cycle such as bank reconciliation, A/R, A/P, payroll, invoicing, and monthly journal entries

·         Managing consultant contracts, invoices, and files  

·         Maintaining business and contract files

·         Managing business licenses

·         Handling supply requisitions

·         Other miscellaneous duties and projects


·         BS/BA in Accounting or Business

·         3+ year’s financial accounting experience or significant experience in accounting and business management experience in a professional services firm.

·         Strong practical experience in utilizing financial and project software

·         Solid experience in accounting procedures and controls, general ledger accounts, journal entries and accruals.

·         Working knowledge of project management and cost accounting for professional services.

·         Professional verbal and written communication skills

·         Proficient QuickBooks and MSOffice skills

·         Excellent detail and organizational skills
