Commercial Insurance Manager ($100,000-120,000 per year)

Pittsburgh area insurance firm is in need of a Commercial Insurance Manager.

Responsibilities to include:

• Overseeing a portfolio of clients and reaching out to existing, potential, and new clients to attain crucial information to match each individual’s unique circumstances with policy options
• Assist clients with claims through the carrier and monitor progress to ensure proper handling and customer satisfaction
• Work with policyholders to develop and deliver risk management strategies that fit their individual needs
• Stay informed of insurance industry protocols and policy changes to ensure fulfillment of all policy requirements
• Reach out to associates to establish an overall collaborative working relationship
• Oversee a team of 4 people

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree preferred (Associate’s degree will be considered)
• P&C Insurance License required
• Proficient in AMS360 or Applied Epic
• Intuitive communicator with a demonstrated knowledge of different types of insurance policies and excellent organizational skills
• Working knowledge of the insurance industry, insurance products risk management profiles, and related state and federal regulations
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite  
• Strong interpersonal skills, communication skills, customer service skills, and analytical skills are required.
• 5+ years of experience preferred in the insurance industry
• 3+ years of management experience preferred
