Pittsburgh company in need of an Admin/Recruiter Assistant to work with H.R. team in support of their recruitment process. This role will primarily focus on reviewing resumes, coordinating interviews, and ensuring a smooth candidate experience from application through selection.
Duties to include:
- Review and screen incoming resumes to identify qualified candidates based on job requirements
- Maintain and update candidate records in the applicant tracking system
- Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and hiring managers
- Communicate with candidates regarding interview details, confirmations, and follow-ups
- Assist in drafting and posting job descriptions on various job boards
- Conduct initial phone screenings when required
- Ensure timely communication throughout the hiring process
- Support HR team with administrative tasks related to recruitment
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 1–2 years of experience in HR or recruitment support preferred
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information professionally
- Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and HR software is a plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Attention to detail
- Multitasking and prioritization
