Downtown Pittsburgh educational institution is in need of an experienced candidate in the role of Administrative/Event Support. The selected candidate will be responsible for processing and maintaining all aspects of gift and biographical processing and maintenance of the alumni and donor database with guidance.
Duties to include:
· Provide administrative support to department leadership to include preparation of correspondence, scheduling, expense reports, and written documents.
· Manage the daily operational functions of the office including meetings management, ordering of supplies, processing of payments, and facilities and equipment maintenance.
· Assist with events, including scheduling of venues, food, and other needs when necessary.
· Attentively manage sensitive and confidential information.
· Receive, sort, and distribute departmental mail.
· Coordinate the signatures, scanning, and distribution to the business office of University Advancement staff expense reports.
· Other admin and general office support duties as required.
Requirements:
· 3+ years of work experience with nonprofit organization experience preferred.
· Experience managing gift entry processes within development constituent databases and related donor/data integration platforms.
· Proficient MSOffice skills; Raiser’s Edge experience is strongly preferred.
· Professional verbal and written communication skills
· Excellent organizational and multitasking skills and with a keen attention to detail.
· Ability to work effectively with various constituents and staff.
· Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
