Pittsburgh area university in need of a part-time Office Assistant. The selected candidate will provide support in areas of contract and database management, data collection and analysis, new hire paperwork and payroll communication, and report preparation.

Duties to include:

· Serve as primary support person related to student employment position requests

· Review, approve, manage, and provide quality control on student employment contracts, and perform regular analysis of budget and contract status as directed by supervisor

· Ensure contract compliance and alignment with university budget; provide budget projections as needed/assigned

· Manage new hire paperwork process for newly hired student employees

· Compiles aggregate data and formats formal reports for department staff and university administrators

· Assist with the administration of timecard management and troubleshooting

· Coordinate all aspects of the student employment position request process each year

· Demonstrate a commitment to offer competent and compassionate service to students, faculty and the university community

· Assist with the dissemination of electronic assessments and other data collection related to student employment

Requirements:

· Associates Degree with demonstrated administrative management experience

· Expertise in using Microsoft Excel, proficiency in all other Microsoft Office applications

· Experience with budget and database management, financial and/or statistical analysis, and reporting

· Excellent attention to detail, organization, and time management skills

· Strong written and verbal communication

· Ability to interact and work well with faculty, students, alumni, and colleagues.

· Strong communication skills, written skills, computer skills, including website and database design/management experience

· Proven track record in administrative accuracy and quality monitoring
